In training of voice projecting practice raising the volume of your voice with out screaming or yelling... speak loud and clear. Posture is important for lecture ventriloquism so keep that in mind, sitting or standing your posture helps with sound and air flowing. unique sitting position In the demonstration photo above ☝️ you have the Ventriloquist sitting sideways on a chair with the Ventriloquist dummy sitting on the Ventriloquist lap.. with this style of sitting the Ventriloquist arm and hand to operate the Ventriloquist dummy is completely hidden from the viewer depending on the Ventriloquist manipulation skills of the Ventriloquist dummy the illusion of life would be and should be effective.  In this style of sitting the Ventriloquist dummy is facing the audience with a full view and that is very good for bringing the attention away from the Ventriloquist for misdirection.  In this style of sitting the Ventriloquist can look at the Ventriloquist dummy and also when choose to face the audience.  With the Ventriloquist arm being hidden in this sitting position to operate the Ventriloquist dummy the other arm is in very open view for posing and movement for GESTURES  bring more animation to the illusion of life....

What is a skit: A skit is a well reheared short comedy routine..how long is a skit? under five minutes..skits can be a short story that lead to a punchline or message. 🗒️ ✍️  🎭 what is a bit: a bit is a very short version of written material for amusement purposes... how long is a bit, a bit is not a demo so a bit can be under one minute. The thing about bits is when you combine many they can become time fillers...a bit can be used for walk around performances... another thing about bits is bits can be used repeatedly at a rapid pace. people like games... using the 3 cards monte with ventriloquism is additional for a Ventriloquist bit... even though the 3 cards monte is performing with both hands the Ventriloquist use voice throwing such as the distant voice...the Ventriloquist confusing the player sight with the use of hands then confusing the player with sound by throwing their voice..the voice can say look I am over here! or hey Joe is that you! or help! help! help!.  The 3 card monte when I was growing up was a street performer gambling game, people on the street would play against the card dealer, the dealer would put a one dollar bill on the table then the player would put their one dollar bill down on the table and the game would begin.  I practice and study how to perform the 3 cards monte not for gambling but for a game addition for my live party performances. My 3 cards monte was used for entertainment and not gambling because the street performers were professionals and very skilled "magicians" ...
