SINGING VENTRILOQUIST (for beginners)

Most people think it's more difficult to sing as a Ventriloquist than talking as a Ventriloquist.
on this topic of singing, we are not going to study or take it for a lesson or training.

Singing with lip control and voice control will be easy for the beginner Ventriloquist. If you are at the breakfast table have your character sing a song that you know, such as your favorite song, sing a song that you did not need to memorize but one that you know. I don't suggest beginner Ventriloquists memorize material in the beginning stages, let's leave the memorizing material when we get to the amateur Ventriloquists stages... when your Ventriloquist character sing your favorite song at the breakfast table your lip control will be trained and your voice control will be trained... This means your lips will not be seen moving as much because of tone, and your voice control will be heard smoother because of air flow, remember to sit up straight so that when your character sing you do not cut off the airflow or choke down on your voice. There are three tones that you can choose from to have your character sing in..1. fossettle...2. high....3. low... I suggest high, when you hit a high note while animating the puppet and manipulation of the puppet mouth the art of Ventriloquism becomes truly magical. as a singing Ventriloquist you want to create the illusion of life and the illusion of life is that your character is a living creature, In a theater play your living creature is singing your favorite song to you at the breakfast table.
Practice on animation of your Ventriloquist puppet... practice on manipulation of your Ventriloquist puppet mouth, the words your puppet speak must have the timing of the movement of the puppet mouth, this means it should seem as if the words are coming out of your character mouth...if your puppet says "HELLO" the mouth should open and close two times, HEL-LO.. remember while the puppet is singing it should move as if it is singing such as dancing or moving to the rythem of the song... Maybe add more singing with your little helper to your practice time.. you might say but I can't sing or that I don't have a good singing voice and I say but your character can sing and your character has a very good singing voice. don't worry your Ventriloquist character can do anything, remember you are the Ventriloquist, you are the the authority figure and your character is the child like figure,so this means if your character thinks that he or she can sing let your character sing and you can give your opinion or corrections if you like, for an  example at your friends birthday party your character sing happy birthday and instead of saying to "you" or whatever the birthday person name is, your character says their own name or toooo MEEE!!.. your character can sing the alphabets backwards then you as the authority figure correct your character by saying the alphabets correctly. as a beginner Ventriloquist it's all about having fun growing into becoming a artist, enjoy learning and studying, enjoy practicing with your character or even characters, enjoy singing new songs and voice tones and high notes and low notes with your Ventriloquist character.
