Ventriloquist Edgar Bergen was also a cartoon artist or in better words a sketch artist. I must say Edgar Bergen was pretty good at drawing art and pictures of his Ventriloquist characters. Edgar Bergen also had a cartoon magazine of his characters, not only was Edgar Bergen on the radio but also in print during his radio career. As a beginner Ventriloquist if you have any other talents, combine them with your Ventriloquist career for an example, if you are a makeup artist, add it to your Ventriloquist career, if you are a dancer add it to your Ventriloquist act, yes many Ventriloquists such as Edgar Bergen had a Ventriloquist act where they danced with the ventriloquist character, if you are a poet add it to your Ventriloquist act. you may have a talent in athletic and may wonder how can you add sports to a Ventriloquist career, with costumes such as you and character wearing a sports team union with a sport  dialogue or comedy skit or material on the subject of sports. I think you being in sports would your Ventriloquist career will be flowing with ideas of creativity.
