STAGE FRIGHT ( for beginners)

we all get nervous when we are in front of an audience or on stage, even the professional Ventriloquists get nervous while entertaining on stage... as a beginner Ventriloquist I would like to give you some information at this point before you move to the next level of your Ventriloquism lessons.. when you get to the amateur Ventriloquists level, you will be entertaining audiences on and off stage, you will surely be in showbiz.. don't let stage fright ruin your Ventriloquist act or Ventriloquist career, if you truly want to have a Ventriloquist career then make stage fright a part of your Ventriloquist act.
as a beginner Ventriloquist rehearsal of some stage fright skits and bits and routines will help you get over your stage fright... first let's think about what are some of the things may cause stage fright, "NERVOUS" ok here's a skit for when you get stage fright NERVOUS...
(Ventriloquist character head is shaking)
Ventriloquist: are you nervous?
character:no..
Ventriloquist:then why are you shaking?
character: because your hand is shaking.

Ventriloquist: don't be nervous,the best way to get rid of stage fright is to imagine all those people sitting out there with out any clothes on..
character: that's what I did!!!
Ventriloquist:so why are you still nervous?
character: because seeing those people naked it was scary!

if you are nervous on stage remember that the art of ventriloquism is also the art of puppetry, so please remember that...this means in some cases you might become so nervous you can not speak with lip control,in this case you the Ventriloquist can sing a song while your Ventriloquist character listen to you singing. If you are ever completely overwhelmed with stage fright have a family member or a friend in the audience as a standby, to use this stunt I call it the "in case of an emergency break glass" this stunt is when you are just completely overwhelmed and nervous, have your Ventriloquist character pick a fight with your standby in the audience, and the standby will come to the rescue...try to create a cute or comedy exit with the ventriloquist character and your standby so that your Ventriloquist act end with a good Ending..if you don't have a standby then put your Ventriloquist act on hold and entertain your audience RAW, raw is improv, raw is no script, raw is you just being you, you and Ventriloquist character can do q&a with the audience, or you can have your character chat about audience members... even have your character talk to you about what you're wearing, talking about your clothes is a easy conversation for you to get comfortable on stage.

Always remember your Ventriloquist act is your Ventriloquist act, you own it, you set your own rules, if you want a Ventriloquist act with out lip control so be it, if you want your Ventriloquist act where your character has purple 🟣 hair so be it, you are an artist and being a Ventriloquist is being an artist in the art of ventriloquism..I give this information to you the beginner Ventriloquist now because you need to know it now in the beginning...the art of ventriloquism belongs to you so as a beginner study and Learn all that you can of the art of ventriloquism...if you should ever get stage fright just remember that stage fright is a normal feeling. Stage fright is the very reason that you practice practice practice practice practice and study and spending time in rehearsal, it's simply because when you're on stage your Ventriloquist act will become second nature to you, this means you can do your Ventriloquist act in your sleep, some entertainers have a outer body experience during their performance and when the show ends they can only know what has happened by the reaction of the audience, sometimes you may think your Ventriloquist act was bad  but the audience reaction was good...I say just enjoy your Ventriloquist career don't worry about being a big celebrity or rich and famous..as a beginner Ventriloquist I tell you the truth, becoming a Ventriloquist is going to open a whole new world for you.. the only thing you need to do is.."the art of ventriloquism" just your participation in the art is all you need to do and your Ventriloquist career will take on a life of its own, good or bad, up or down, I tell you the truth it's going to be an unbelievable journey..... and no you do not need to be a performer to be a Ventriloquist.. you can be a Ventriloquist figure maker... you can be a collector of the art of ventriloquism.. you can be a fashion designer... you can be a teacher or instructor of the art of Ventriloquism..you can be a historian..you can be a manager or agent for Ventriloquist performers, yes there are agencies that are only for Ventriloquist performers...you can repair and restore Ventriloquist figures... you can be a comedy or dialogue writer for Ventriloquist performers....so much more opportunities in the Ventriloquist career...so as a beginner Ventriloquist you can see there's many options for you than just being a performer, so if stage fright or being in front of an audience is not for you, there are other fields in the art of ventriloquism that you can do with your very own Ventriloquist career.
