it is more easy to speak in a conversation, when practicing lip control, write a sentence using the substitute alphabet for your character and then write sentences for the Ventriloquist using the correct alphabet.. sometimes it is okay to repeat what your character says so the audience can follow the conversation smoothly, sometimes you can be a interpreter for your listening audience explaining what your partner is saying or talking about or even correcting but be quick about it to keep the conversation moving..for a smooth communication with your audience practice your lines and skits and dialogue, so that you will know what you are going to talk about, just like the practice dialogues above, the Ventriloquist is talking to his character about a party and the other dialogue is a introduced, greeting or something like that.as the audience listens and watch your pretend conversation they will be able to follow the conversation as you guide them with your regular speaking voice.. write your own sentences using the substitute alphabet for your Ventriloquist character and write the correct alphabet in a sentence for you the Ventriloquist then combined to use for a practice lip control dialogue..I want to mention about  you the Ventriloquist being a interpreter for your character to your audience this should only be done in the beginner ventriloquist stages, after you graduate to the amateur level, your Ventriloquial character should be well advanced by then.. being a interpreter for your character is a tool for beginners to use.
