YOUR CHARACTER NAME OR YOUR STAGE NAME (for beginners)

As a beginner Ventriloquist you will really need a stage name before you reach the amateur Ventriloquists level.. you can use your real name but most people in show business use a stage name because their real name might be difficult to pronounce..a nickname could be used also.. when you name your character, the character name should be unique and a name people could remember.. your character name can be anything you like, so be creative.. take your time with coming up with your names for your Ventriloquist act but don't take too long.. names are very important, they're the brand of the product and the product is your Ventriloquist act, names are recognition.. a name like Mortimer snerd was one of Edgar Bergen characters... when you here the name Mortimer snerd you think of Edgar Bergen, that's why naming your character is very important, it's called recognize the characters or familiar faces..when you name yourself make sure it's yours and when you name your character make sure it's theirs.. for another example "LESTER" how many Lesters do you really know maybe a handful now how many Willie tyler do you know? maybe a handful now put the two names together as Willie tyler and Lester, now how many Willie tyler and Lester do you know? not a handful. when you create a name for Ventriloquist act it will be permanent in your Ventriloquist career so if you're not sure of the name to use for your Ventriloquist act then the best way is to use your real name and if you can't come up with a character name then just leave the character nameless, but your Ventriloquist act needs a label, your Ventriloquist act needs a name... I suggest that you brain storm on your Ventriloquist name, people and your audience need to know the name of the product.. have you ever walked in to a restaurant that had no name or menu, have you ever walked in to a 🍨🍦 ice cream shop and ice cream was nameless, no chocolate or vanilla, it's the same so names are important.. 
below I have some stage names ideas for you
_____VENTRILOQUIST ACT STAGE NAMES___
1.peanut butter and jelly
2.ventriloquist "your name" and Mr. dummy
for example if your real name is joe brown this stage name is: Ventriloquist joe brown and mr.dummy. or ms.dummy.
3.double trouble...this name is a Ventriloquist act of your comedy team.. if you use this stage name you and your character will be labeled under one name " double trouble" 
4.loud mouth and Ventriloquist "your name" for example if you use this stage name the character name will go in front of your name, so if your name is Lisa Jackson the stage name is: loud mouth and Ventriloquist Lisa Jackson.
5. the ventriloquist twins: if you use this stage name you and your character will need to  dress alike, this stage name is catchy and it also has potential if you are a creative person.. using this stage name "the Ventriloquist twins" your Ventriloquist act will be under one name. 
6. Ventriloquist "your name" and stinky.
7. "THE BELLY TALKER" with a Ventriloquist stage name like the belly talker you better be a very good Ventriloquist.. using this stage name will be for a Ventriloquist that is a entertainer in the art of ventriloquism..if you use this name you will need to live up to the name.. a voice magician is my idea of a Ventriloquist act with the name "the belly talker".
8.ventriloquist "your name" and sloppy joe.
9.ventriloquist "your name" and boogers.
10. a more simple way for names is to use one of your real names such using your middle or your last name or your first and for your character name use a nickname... for an example using your last name as your stage name and your nickname for your Ventriloquist figure.. let's say your nickname is Stanky butt and your last name is Jackson, your Ventriloquist act stage name would be Jackson and Stanky butt.. Jackson and Stanky butt is for sure an original.. original names is what you are looking for so be sure to add Ventriloquist in your name title because I have had some trouble with other people jumping on my name bandwagon, and my name have been around more than a generation so make sure you say Ventriloquist Jackson and Stanky butt if that's your Ventriloquist act stage name because it might be a athlete name Stanky butt so as a ventriloquist you want to make sure people get the right Stanky butt.

I want you to know that you can name your character anything, anything you like, your Ventriloquist figure name can be a cute name.. your Ventriloquist character name can be a funny name... your Ventriloquist partner name can be spelled and not spoken.. you can name your Ventriloquist dummy after someone you know..you can name your Ventriloquist puppet after a street name..when you are deciding on names for your Ventriloquist act or Ventriloquist character try it out before stamping it with your permanent approval.. names are forever especially when you become a professional or even as a second level amateur... once you decide on your Ventriloquist act name your Ventriloquist career will have a brand name and a label just like all other merchandise and products.. remember to honor your Ventriloquist act name and be proud of yourself having a stage name for your Ventriloquist act.
