SOME TIPS: THIS IS NOT A LESSON BUT A DISCUSSION FOR LIP CONTROL FOR SOME REHEARSAL VOICE THROWING SECRETS. ( for the amateur Ventriloquists).

for this training When you are in rehearsal you want to practice on returning to the demonstration photo mouth position after you the Ventriloquist has spoken. 

The telephone voice...When the your telephone voice illusion is coming out of the phone try it from this mouth lip control position. When you do the telephone voice in this mouth position you need to be very skillful at a high level in lip control..your lip control need to be at a PERFECTION level so if your lip control is at a very high skillful level hold the phone in view of the audience and you facing the audience with your lips in this demonstration photo lip control position... when the audience see the phone then hear the voice they will glance at you and see that you are listening to the voice coming out of the phone.. this lip control mouth position while holding the phone give a facial expression of listening. The audience will see that you are listening to what the voice is saying on the phone and the audience will begin to listen to the voice on the phone also. 

 
The broken stopwatch illusion...When the broken stopwatch is ticking face your audience hold the stopwatch up for your audience to see with your mouth lip control in this position. 

Here is the secret: with the telephone voice illusion 📱..the Air coming from the bottom of your lungs to the windpipe, the voice sound comes upward and the sound is in a buzzing sound the buzzing sound is buzzing through, then it smoothly passing through your parted lips while the tongue manipulate the buzzing sound into words..

The secret to the broken stopwatch is just a tongue being pulled back, back by air and the tongue pulling forward, repeatedly quickly back and forward back and forward while the Ventriloquist imitation of a ticking sound. 

This lip control mouth position can go quickly to a great smile while the Ventriloquist character is talking then back to the listening position. This will create a awesome illusion as the character talks the Ventriloquist smile and listen at the same time, be sure to rehearsal before performing the listening and smiling at the same time lip control position in front of an audience.  

Throwing your voice can be fun and easy once you learn how to throw your voice. Throwing your voice is a old saying, so let's keep it going if people think the Ventriloquist actually throws his or her voice let's keep the secret going.

Having a Ventriloquist character that is a loud mouth trouble maker can be entertaining. You can always blame your Ventriloquist character for saying something that your audience didn't like because they didn't see your lips moving so you could not have said it, I remember a comedy club agent turned my stage microphone off because my Ventriloquist character name Sammy words were too dirty, when I came off stage the comedy club agent said I asked you to keep it clean! I said Why are you saying I didn't keep it clean you owe me an apology she said why do I owe you an apology I said did you see my lips moving saying all those dirty words she said no, I said you owe me an apology, the comedy club agent became very upset screaming in the comedy club "I know you said it!" she was almost pulling her own hair out nearly in tears "I know you said it 😭" as I exit the club with Sammy. so practice your lip control to the point of excellence and no one can accuse you of saying anything 😊... 

(In closing I wrote about the comedy club agent situation in my autobiography and I would like to briefly mention it here...that night at a famous comedy club in Hollywood California with the house full a female comedian was on stage before me and sammy doing dirty comedy material, as Sammy and I are getting ready to go on stage the comedy club agent mentioned a few things in my ear about the female comedian on stage, show business stuff and told me not to step in the female comedian glory so keep my Ventriloquist act clean and simple, I said okay to a very powerful sexy comedy club agent at the time so when I was on stage I used comedy material from my night clubs file but the comedy club audience was not being entertained, so I had to switch to the comedy club material and that comedy material is dirty, when I went in to my comedy club Ventriloquist act the audience quickly came to life, the comedy club agent seen the audience laughing and howling she first started dimming the stage lights to give a warning signal to me so I just stepped back and let Sammy run wild then the audience really started cracking up, me too! That's when the comedy club agent ran her little sexy self to turn my microphone off).
