THE VENTRILOQUIST THAT COULD NOT READ ***(open class)**
What if a Ventriloquist could not read and his Ventriloquist character had to teach the Ventriloquist how to read. This Ventriloquist is very very very illiterate.. how much patience does the Ventriloquist character have.. the Ventriloquist slowly trying to pronounce words that the Ventriloquist character have no trouble pronuncing.. when the Ventriloquist character ask the Ventriloquist to spell the word "I" The Ventriloquist spell e-y-e- not that "I" the other "I"says the Ventriloquist character , what other "I" is there the Ventriloquist ask, the other "I" says the Ventriloquist character, can you use it in a sentence ask the Ventriloquist, the Ventriloquist character says "I went to the market" that "I", the Ventriloquist says "I" the Ventriloquist character says don't say it spell it, the Ventriloquist says okay how do you spell "I" and the Ventriloquist character proudly says "roman numero one"... the Ventriloquist being illiterate is a Ventriloquist act where the Ventriloquist character has the leading role, the Ventriloquist plays the dummy role in not being so smart... this Ventriloquist act is of course all comedy, and all for fun. This role play gives the little guy the upper hand over the big guy most audiences cheer for the little guy. This is a Ventriloquist act, it's not a skit or bit, it has many dialogue pages, it has many jokes and other written material. I wrote this Ventriloquist act for my comedy club career. I didn't put the actual material of the Ventriloquist act here because I want you to write your own Ventriloquist act based on what if there was a Ventriloquist that could not read and the Ventriloquist character try to help the Ventriloquist read..no matter how much the Ventriloquist character tries the Ventriloquist can't get the words correct, how many times will the Ventriloquist character yell that his Ventriloquist is a big dummy, but maybe the Ventriloquist character will be understanding and loving and caring but the Ventriloquist pronouncing of the words with ridiculous facial expressions should be comedy in its self.
This is a goofy Ventriloquist act where the Ventriloquist make fun of himself just keep that in mind.. my Ventriloquist act was titled "the illiterate Ventriloquist" I was going through my files and I came across a old Ventriloquist skit that I used for library shows, it was all about learning to read so I was no longer doing library shows because I was now performing in comedy clubs, so I read the old Ventriloquist act and I said "what if" the Ventriloquist could not read and the Ventriloquist character had to teach the Ventriloquist how to read, I reversed the roles and I wondered what would that be like. The illiterate Ventriloquist was a dirty Ventriloquist act when I finished rewriting it. When I first performed the illiterate Ventriloquist act it was funny the audience enjoyed it, and I enjoyed performing it because I get to act silly instead of being the serious character, my Ventriloquist character name Sammy was calling me every dirty name that you could think of, there's a big Ventriloquist making goofy faces trying to pronounce words while a little guy is yelling at him and just keep loosing his temper trying to teach his Ventriloquist how to read.
The original "the illiterate Ventriloquist" was not dirty during the rewrite of the Ventriloquist character role becoming more aggressive is what made the act dirty..in my rewriting the little guy can't believe what he is seeing, the little guy is frustrated of trying to to teach the big guy how to sound out A-E-I -O-U and sometimes -Y-.. it's sillyness of a Ventriloquist with a very profanity using Ventriloquist character...if you decide to write your own version of "the illiterate Ventriloquist" I want it to be your very own it doesn't has be like mine but the situation needs to remain the same... you do not need to make it a dirty Ventriloquist act it can be a clean act...mine was rewritten for the adult comedy club audience but you can write yours for any audience that you like, and it doesn't need to be a comedy, a Ventriloquist character teaching the Ventriloquist how to read can be a musical yes I wrote that one too but I really wanted to be silly and goofy sometimes so I worked on the dirty one..the musical illiterate Ventriloquist act was a musical play with singing and tones of words with music.
Reverse roles in a Ventriloquist act is very different where the smart and responsible characters are not smart and not very reasonable it might raise some eyebrows from the audience.
