blind folding the Ventriloquist and blind folding the Ventriloquist character then have a volunteer from the audience take scarfs from a box one at a time on stage and hold them up for all to see the Ventriloquist character says the color of each scarf as the volunteer hold them up one at a time..I used a mentalist act many times in my Ventriloquist act... Being a mentalist is nothing more than simple magic tricks and if you can come up with your very own mentalist tricks then you will have nothing but a line up of gimmicks and there's nothing wrong with gimmicks only if they are used for a tool....
if you can not make your own see through blind folds or see through scarfs visit a magic supply company or store. The blind can also be examine by the volunteer and will not discover the hidden secrets of the blind fold.
how does the Ventriloquist character know what the card ♦️ ♠️ is? the cards are called mark cards and you can make your own or have the professional ones.. if you decide to make your own mark cards the volunteer from the audience can not examine the cards and I would not even have the volunteer shuffle the cards that you made yourself..
The Ventriloquist character tells the Ventriloquist what card is faced down on the table such as a diamond, a heart, a club,etc. a volunteer from the audience shuffles the cards then lay the cards facing down on a table the Ventriloquist ask the Ventriloquist character what card is on top of the deck of cards♦️♠️ the Ventriloquist character says what the card is such as a diamond then the Ventriloquist ask the volunteer to turn the top card face upwards and the card is the diamond ♦️ card or what ever the Ventriloquist character prediction.
I think adding a mentalist act should be mixed with comedy and the Ventriloquist character should always play the part of the mentalist.. adding a mentalist act to a Ventriloquist act should never be done alone meaning a mentalist act should not be done separately from a Ventriloquist act these two acts should always be combined together. You may ask why, my true answer might blow your mind so let me just say combining the two acts of mentalist act and Ventriloquist act the audience has a clearer understanding of fun and entertainment.
I know that You really want to know how the Ventriloquist and the Ventriloquist character are both blindfolded and can tell what color scarfs the volunteer are holding in their hands and I know you want to know how does the Ventriloquist character know what the card is faced down. Theses are simple magic tricks that a average audience doesn't know about but most magicians knows these mentalist magic tricks. I have used both of these mentalist gimmicks at birthday parties shows and I really WOW the small brains of children audiences and it was kind of spooky for parents in the audience, so I learned to add a lot of comedy using these gimmicks that got me more birthday party shows. when I first added the mentalist act it was too believable for the audiences, I rewrote the Ventriloquist act with the mentalist adding comedy, when I completed the restoration I started receiving more show bookings with the combination of a comedy mentalist Ventriloquist act.

The secret of the blind fold begins to work when the blind fold is pressed and pulled back over the eyes and face, two kinds of blind folds the first ones has many tiny little holes that the mentalist can see out of, the scarfs that the volunteer holds in their hands are large and colorful..and let me just say if volunteer holds a coin in their the mentalist would not be very successful that why I call it a gimmick. The scarfs and the box and the blind fold are parts that put the mentalist act together. the other type of blind fold to use are magicians see through scarfs, the magicians scarf I used I didn't trust to be examine by a volunteer from the audience other than that it worked pretty good.
How to make your own mark cards, there's four cards ❤️ ♦️ ♠️ etc, in a deck, you four different colors of ink pens, in the upper right hand corner of all the cards in deck you make a ink dot, if it ❤️ card use make a blue ink dot, if it's a diamond ♦️ card you make a green ink dot and ect... The only thing you need to do is memorize the ink dots, so when you see the color dot you know what the card is.
