STAGE (for beginner Ventriloquist)

let's study where you are going to spend most of your time as a amateur Ventriloquist and a semi pro Ventriloquist. We study about the stage at the beginning level because when you graduate from the beginning level you will have some type of information about where you're going to be most of your Ventriloquist career.

THE STAGE!!!

sometimes it's wise to learn about the stage that you are going to entertain on before you begin the show by arriving early or even during rehearsal time.

Find out where the stage steps are so that you don't stumble walking on or off stage, you should also practice walking up and down the steps.

when the stage is completely set up you can can take a photo of where the cables are if any to study back stage.
The sound person will usually measure you to adjust the microphone if you are going to used that kind of microphone or you can adjust the microphone yourself to your very own liking and also sometimes a microphone will be setup for your Ventriloquist character.

Another important note is to stand on stage looking out at the empty audience before the audience arrives doing this takes away the afraid of heights feeling, so just stand in the middle of the stage about five minutes looking out at the empty audience.
