Ventriloquist Edgar Bergen other talent was also as a cartoon artist.

Not only did Ventriloquist Edgar Bergen use his Ventriloquist act for radio and films he also entertained with Charlie mccarthy in print.

The story of Charlie McCarthy, Edgar Bergen was published in 1938.

Writing ✍️ is also apart of your Ventriloquist career in creating the illusion of the "what if".. become a storyteller about your Ventriloquist character or Ventriloquist characters.

You might not be a cartoonist or anything in drawing of cartoons, I am sure you can write a story with out pictures full of imagination about your Ventriloquist character. it can be a short story or a very long story or what ever you like it to be. If you like to have pictures in your story book have someone that is a cartoon artist create pictures of your Ventriloquist character then you write the story adding the pictures..Your very own story book of your Ventriloquist character will bring you so much joy and so much entertainment for family and friends.

How to make a physical story book about your Ventriloquist character does not need to be fancy unless you want it to be, start out with something simple, your story book is not digital it's going to be a real physical story book  πŸ“– ... First get two color sheets of art paper such as blue green yellow, etc, one sheet for the front cover and one sheet for the back cover of your story book, if you like to put cartoons on the front cover add the cartoons after the title, write the title of your book at the top of the cover sheet..now you need white sheets of paper with out lines such as typewriter paper, for a short story ten sheets should be enough, on the ten sheets of paper you will write your story about your Ventriloquist character if you have cartoon pictures of your Ventriloquist character add them in with the ten sheets of the story, it's a good idea if the cartoon pictures match the words being read for an example if you write that your Ventriloquist character stop to smell the roses 🌹 πŸ‘ƒ on the way to school it would be more imagination for the readers if the pictures show your Ventriloquist character smelling the roses and not playing a the 🎺 trumpet, for example if you use cartoons the reader will read and look at the pictures but if there's no pictures the reader will read using their own imagination..
After you are done writing your story place your story pages on top of the color back page then place your front title page on top of your ten or so story pages, next use a stapler to staple the end sides of all the sheets of paper Γ nd color cover pages together about four to six staples should be enough.. your story book πŸ“– should open and close like a book, the pages should flip and you should be able to turn pages like a book. Now you have your very own fairytale of your Ventriloquist character. . 8X10 size note book paper is what I used, I also used a typewriter to write the story but you can write by using manuscript if you like, my brother was into comic books and he was in the art of cartoon art, the drawing of my Ventriloquist character in my story book was created by my brother so have fun with your very own work of ART!.

Note: if you look closely at the "Charlie McCarthy mighty magician" book photo you can see where the staples are located to secure holding the pages together.. look at the art work, look where the title is, if you like you can study it as a guideline for your Ventriloquist character story book πŸ“–. until you have it published by a publisher but until then it's your very own work of ART.
