Welcome to a reading on creating images in the mind of your audiences. First let me give you some real life experiences of theater of the mind, on my drive to work I listen to a radio show called big boy radio show for one reason only it was to hear a voice by the name of ani or something like that, this voice kept me glued to listening to the radio show, the voice was the vision of a tiny girl surrounded by giant authority figures, the voice usually did the hot topic in the news sometimes the giant authority figures voices would team up against the little girl voice when they didn't agree with her news topics in return the Little girl voice stand strong in her likes of her hot topic news besides the giant authority voices dislikes it gives a vision of the youngest sister surrounded by her older siblings.

Another radio broadcast  show with a wonderful voice character was called the Heidi and frank show, I was amazed at the voice coming through my radio broadcast speakers, the voice was name Sammi with an "I" even though radio should never be visually open to the public but with technology today nothing is sacred anymore...the Sammi voice character on the show kept me entertained with all her wild comedy bits that her show hosts talked her into getting involved with, during the show sometimes you can hear the Sammi voice character laughing in the background after the Sammi voice character leave the show the show wasn't same anymore, so keep that in mind sometimes the little characters are who the audience are coming to see.

Betty boop is another voice character in the theater of the mind category, even though Betty boop is a animated character doesn't effect the theater of the mind because of her one of a kind voice..I listen to Betty boop on audio and still get the same imagination of her song and dance.

We all know of one of the greatest voice character that has ever lived, norma jean character name merilyn Monroe, a voice known around the world even today.. Monroe voice fit her image on films perfectly when she spoke it was with out recognition of a genuine performance.  

The theater of the mind is your imagination. 

Audio is the theater 🎭 for the mind.

When you read a story it's entertainment for the theater of the mind.. when Betty boop sing and dance you enjoy music of a imaginary world.. you cheer for the youngest sister surrounded by her older siblings every morning, you can't wait to hear what Sammi is going to get talked into doing next. 

Actress Jennifer Tilly is the perfect person for the movie the bride of Chucky her voice animation is no doubt in believing the illusion of life for the Tiffany character..the voice fits the image it's a god send that character and creator are soulmates.. in other words no other actress can play the part of Chucky Bride Tiffany the voice and image are a match made in heaven.  

actor Morgan Freeman has been given the title "the voice of God"

When you write ✍️ a script remember that voices are characters too!
