If you have a infant size slip on shoes you can use duct tape to stick to the inside of the buttom shoes then press pressure down when you put the foot inside the shoe, this will be for extra support to help keep the shoes on the foot, remember to roll the duck tape inside out providing only the glue part.. this is because the slippers don't have shoe strings.

I really recommend that you get turtle neck shirts and sweaters for all your Ventriloquist characters.The turtle neck hide the ball socket neck..
The turtle neck helps the Ventriloquist with the manipulation and the illusion of life of the Ventriloquist character.. sometimes when the Ventriloquist character is singing the head might rise too high up where the control stick can be seen but a turtle neck can hide that.

collar shirts are very good for hiding the Ventriloquist character ball socket neck.Long sleeve shirts are much better than short sleeves because when the audience is watching the Ventriloquist character the long sleeve gives a complete view of the Ventriloquist character.
