The illusion of life is manipulation and animation by the Ventriloquist.

The Ventriloquist act is a illusion of two characters carrying on a pretend conversation. 

as a Ventriloquist your Ventriloquist character is a real person in the world of make believe..
in this class there's many subjects some are human size dolls, with the dolls the Ventriloquist challenge is to breathe life into the dolls seeing that they don't have a moving mouth.

Walking the dog is a marionette puppet that will give the Ventriloquist the illusion of taking  a dog for a walk, there is no sound or speech involved..

The Ventriloquist figure sitting alone has the illusion of life with out the help of the Ventriloquist, the Ventriloquist figure made like that one, the Ventriloquist will bring to life as a silent partner.. meaning the Ventriloquist will not speak in creating a special Ventriloquist act for the illusion of life but in another Ventriloquist act using the same figure the Ventriloquist can speak in other words a script is written just for the illusion of life, meaning a monologue instead of a dialogue.

The blue prints will give some information on how maybe you can make body parts move.

I must admit some of these dolls are very expensive, so this class is not for all students it's  a open class for that reason..this class is for the Ventriloquist experimenting for the next level.. this class is one of the classes on the illusion of life, there's not many subjects ventriloquism illusion of life so this will  be a special subject.

When Edgar Bergen begin his Ventriloquist career on the radio 📻 people believed Charlie McCarthy was a real person.

The Ventriloquist should not only work with Ventriloquist figures or puppets..in this class there's real life images that are dolls..in the 1950s Ventriloquists brought manikins to life with dance, there was some Ventriloquists that rise up a living doll on a hospital bed..
one Ventriloquist act, a Ventriloquist is sitting at a restaurant table with his wife, the wife face is partly seen by the audience the Ventriloquist is seen completely, the wife voice is heard as they carry on a conversation at the eating table.at the end the Ventriloquist pickup his wife in his arms, she rest her head on his shoulder the Ventriloquist carry her away..the audience is seated a distance away so that they could not see the Ventriloquist operating the life like doll hand movements with a string or a wire.

This class is for sure is a advancing class, it is surely a challenge for some.

The illusion of life is part of Ventriloquism in creating the "what if".


 the closer the image is to believable the greater the illusion.
