THE ACT OF GODS (open script) " LET THERE BE LIGHT"

This is a script for voice acting.

For this live performance your voice and lights are all that is needed. 

lots and lots of Stage lighting, spot lights.

candle lights are beautiful..on the market there's plastic candles also.

Lazer lights are still on the market today. The Lazer lights machine will for sure work wonders for your show.

in the script the god is speaking to the witness..who are the witnesses, they're the one that meets a powerful god or goddess that speaks to them through poems or poetry and storytelling. The lights are the god themselves. 

in this Ventriloquist act of sight and sound the voice of the character is heard and the body of light is seen.. when writing the script remember this is a illusion it's no different than any other Ventriloquists act except voice animation is the character.

I can't tell you how to write ✍️ your script for this Ventriloquist act but don't change the illusion.

When creating your lights try to find as many different light bulbs as you can.... try to find all shapes of light bulbs...I have seen light bulbs shaped like 💜 hearts and dollar $ sign $ but for this show you are only looking for colors, no alphabet or numbers.

What is the illusion: the illusion is a voice that is heard but no one is seen, the voice direct the witness to lights...the beauty, the power and the wonderful.

other stage objects can be used such as the above lighted rhino 🦏,  for a background stage prop... Monitors with godly figures can be used in the background for vision effects..this would only be additional features to the light show and your voice theater 🎭..

It is a light show done with many different kinds of lights, bright lights, colorful lights, blinking lights, flashing lights operating at the same time. 

it seems complicated but if you can decorate a Christmas tree then you can creat your very own light show voice theater for family and friends and and if you are serious then you would need to use your production company to put on a bigger stage event..and if you don't have a production company then you need to start building yourself one but don't rush by the time you finish this school you'll have built a production company and a file cabinet to go with it.

There are lights on the market that are sound operated thoses lights can be in rhythm with your speaking voice or the sound of your voice....on the market there are remote control lights that works from a key board.. on the market there are music DJ lighting equipment. 

The lights and the voice entertain the audience.. you the performer is hidden from view of the audience with the microphone. 

 the script writing can be poems or storytelling..no music or singing, this is voice theater, it's a vocal act only. 

We are all familiar with stage lights or the spotlight, they're at bars and concerts and many entertainment venues..you can even find them in people front yard used for lighting... changing the light bulb to color light bulbs is just like changing a light bulb on a lamp.

The character is a god that speaks to the witness with poetry or storytelling and the witness are the audience, in your voice character you are a god/authority figure.. your lights are you the god, all the colors and brightness represents you. 

Chandelier lights the effect of shooting stars use your imagination when working with theses lights.. chandelier lights can hang high above your audience head for a more close-up effects.. chandelier light bulbs com in many different colors and are easy to replace and install.

There light projectors that is on the market that you can use to aim at a bedroom wall or the bedroom ceiling the bathroom will become a living Galaxy with the bedroom light off... If you want to go bigger show then use a large white screen such as a movie screen or a large white backdrop wall.

At the end of the script the lights dim then the voice fades away.

How creative are you.

Can you create a hand made of lights.... Can you create eyes made from lights?.. can you create a face of lights that fade in and out?

If so these features can add another level to the Ventriloquist character.

A hand with lights

In a light show the art of shadow puppetry can be used... The shadows can speak..the shadows can be animals and other images.

For your god hand you can use a manican hand or glow in the dark paint on a glove or manican hand 

For your  tube light smiley face you can use a black board for support or a dark bed sheet or a dark wall.

Some pumpkin heads are made of plastic so all you need is to do is install the lights

Different styles of heads can be used if you do not want to use a punkin head.

These are tube lights made in the shape of a smiley face.

adding lights in side a punkin head.. some people use candles but for this we will use lights, or flashing lights or color light.

A dark painted manican body give the image a shadow when lights are flickering.. lights can can be added to the dark manican body.. glow in the dark paint can also be added to the dark color manican body...if you like the manican to speak in the light show just add a punkin head to the body then install flashing lights inside the punkin head mouth, when you speak into the microphone 🎤 with the timing of the flashing light in the punkin head mouth it will seem as the punkin head is speaking.
