ANCIENT BABYLON 
b.c. before christ... the art of ventriloquism was practice. 

In ancient history studies you will find many idols worship and pagan gods in Babylon.

What were the high priesthood so that we get a clear understanding of our Ventriloquist ancestors the Ventriloquist priesthood.. in the holy Bible when Moses went to see the king of the Egyptian in Egypt named pharaoh, the king high priest stick became a snake, thoses highpreist were the magician in ancient history and there were high priest that were called belly speakers or bellytalkers those priest belong to the ancient art of Ventriloquism. The belly speakers made statues speak and receive messages from the voice of the gods.. many kings and powerful people seek answers from the gods and only the priesthood had the power to connect with the gods. 

The ventriloquism priesthood were very important to society in ancient history. 

In ancient Babylon every person worship some type of god, there were many superstitions and many beliefs. 


the god of Moses told Moses to lay his walking stick at the kings feet, when Moses lay his walking stick at the kings feet the stick became a snake,the king was fearful at first but the kings very own highpreist lay their stick at the kings feet and their stick became a snake also while the king was laughing at Moses history records that Moses Snake attacked the other snake and killed it. 

In ancient Babylon the history of Ventriloquism runs very high and so do the art of magic.. even though magic and ventriloquism are both ancient history art they're not the same.

In the holy Bible the Three wise men also had a encounter with a king that a baby will be born to rule as a king, this baby was predicted by wisemen hundreds of years before that king was born but the king Heard about the story and believed the story, this king was afraid of this new born king so he planned to kill the baby..so as you can see the power of religion beliefs in ancient history.
