HISTORY OF THE VENTRILOQUIST ✨ ✨ ✨ (open class) WAYLAND FLOWERS AND MADAME ✨ ✨ ⭐ ⭐ combining puppetry comedian and Ventriloquist ⭐

Wayland flowers and Madame were entertainers in the 1980s that I watched on television.

We study this performing artist because he was given the title "Ventriloquist"... when you watched this act on television the camera would be on the Ventriloquist character when the Ventriloquist character was talking to a person on stage with them, the Ventriloquist would not be in the filming but out of view... When Wayland and Madame sing and dance together Wayland flowers would be in camera view, Wayland flowers was also in some camera view with Madame talking to other people on camera but Madame was mostly in front of the camera with Wayland flowers out of view.

Wayland flowers was a puppet maker also.

Wayland flowers was given the title Ventriloquist because of his master of the illusion of life, just like Edgar Bergen his lips did move but the illusion was so powerful you didn't notice.. the character development of Madame was excellent..the script writing for this Ventriloquist act was outstanding.

combining many performing arts to create this Ventriloquist act is a wonderful entertaining creation.. dance, puppetry, comedy, theater, with the art of Ventriloquism style, "style".. I enjoyed watching Wayland flowers and Madame on television, I really enjoyed how Madame script writing could some time be raunchy on television but done smoothly.
For your assignment take a look at this style of a Ventriloquist act.. if you're not very good at lip control, we build strength in areas to make up for the lip control.. we will look at Wayland flowers character development of Madame, we look at voice control, we look at animation and manipulation of the character to view the illusion of life.

This assignment is only for a substitute for poor lip control students.. a teaching on being a entertaining Ventriloquist... In reality what was Wayland flowers was he a puppeteer or was he really a Ventriloquist.. Edgar Bergen is a Ventriloquist, Wayland and Edgar Bergen style is almost the same...most puppeteers are hidden out of view to bring the character to life, a Ventriloquist is in view to bring the character to life.. Wayland flowers could dance and he could sing and he charmed the audiences with his performance. I would gladly say yes he's a theater Ventriloquist.
Keep in mind there's also marionette performers these are truly not Ventriloquists because they create the illusion of life by using strings or wires, theses performers are called puppeteers, they can be hidden or in view.
Basically a Ventriloquist is in view of the audience..a puppeteer is hidden from the audience and the other puppeteer are performers hidden or in view of the audience using  wires or strings for the character.

Creating a Ventriloquist act with out lip control can lead to a successful Ventriloquist career but I say lip control is very very important, lip control is MISDIRECTION so in this class you need to study Wayland flowers misdirection, understand the television camera help Wayland flowers with misdirection just like lip control.
