Paul Winchell was not much of a Edgar Bergen meaning Paul Winchell ventriloquism was a master of puppetry and Edgar Bergen ventriloquism was the illusion of life, people in the beginning believed that Charlie McCarthy was a real person and that is what Edgar Bergen created in the end. If you look at Charlie McCarthy photos you will see that Charlie McCarthy is a growing boy and you will also see that Charlie McCarthy did the illusion of age.. meaning there are six to thirteen heads of Charlie McCarthy.

I own a copy of Paul Winchell finally showing some respect to Edgar Bergen in his confession and what's strange about the confession is that it just came out of  nowhere one minute Paul Winchell is filming his lesson on how to become a Ventriloquist then boom! I was very happy to hear him speaking on that subject. "Golden" during the filming Paul Winchell is up in age but all this time I have been wanting to know.
