VENTRILO-MAGIC (the knife swallowed )
I used a VENTRILO-MAGIC TRICK to create the illusion that I was swallowing a knife while my Ventriloquist character was humming or while my Ventriloquist character was hitting a high note for ten seconds.

How I did my swallowing the knife while my Ventriloquist figure hit a high note at the same time: I tilt my head back looking up ward I bite down on the tip front part of the knife plastic blade when I push the knife handle down the blade go inside the handle seeming to be swollowed in my mouth but never ever enter my mouth, the high note or the humming is lip control and vocal cords and animation of the Ventriloquist character.
Very little practice and rehearsal needed because it's all lip control and vocal cords actions, the knife is a simple magic trick that anyone can use.

It's amazing that a presentation can be a show in itself even for an audience member that knows how the magic trick is done.
If you would like to be more dramatic, you can add fake blood..my recipe for fake blood is:
(Food coloring) or... (red kool aid)...or (red syrup= strawberry pancakes 🥞 syrup).
Fake blood is also on the market so I mention here my recipe for fake blood is eatables that brings a more thrilling vision, I have seen the fake blood on the market but haven't tested it because I used my own fake blood that worked very well for my knife tricks illusions.. the powdered red koolaid with just a little amount of water looks very real when you use in a small portion on a body part such as having a cut lip,or a nose bleed, if you want something yucky looking like taking your Ventriloquist character heart out of their chest red syrup will for sure give a good vision of a bloody heart in your bloody hands if you really want to shock your audience with blood running all over the subject RED water coolering will definitely make a mess.
for making you very own fake blood Red kool aid can be cherry flavor or any red flavor so please experiment when creating your very own fake blood before using it for entertainment purposes.
You know what's really unique about this magic trick knife I cut a stick of butter 🧈 in front of the audience to show that the knife was a sharp knife, so this knife can really bring some excitement to your act, yes this magic trick knife can cut small simple soft Items like a stick of butter or a soft piece of chocolate candy, so it's safe to give a thrilling demonstration to your audience by cutting a stick of butter in half with the magic trick knife, I believe a stick of butter can be cut with a plastic knife but this magic trick knife make the visual more daring to watch.
