ventriloquism PRACTICE THE ALPHABET "P" how to speak with out moving your lips.
practice exercises for the letter "P"
Inhale some air...next part your lips slightly or put your lips in a great big smile mouth position π like this emoji smile π π π π<
Next is the tongue: the tip of your tongue π will do the work of the lips.. your tongue tip will curl and will be used for tapping inside your mouth π while it is nearly closed or in the great big π smile mouth position...where does the tongue curl and tap inside the mouth? You need to examine the insides of your mouth with your tongue to feel where it can move or where it's comfortable moving around inside your mouth.
(Very important note: the tongue is a muscle in the human body and it needs to be treated like all other body muscles so if you're not much of a talker this ventriloquism exercise might take some time for you)
While your mouth is in the great big smile π position breathe in then exhale a few times during this practice you will inhale and exhale out of your mouth when speaking with out moving your lips but you can breathe through your nose for yourself.
"P" ALPHABET is not "P" instead of saying the sentence: Peter played a πΉ piano at Paul's party.. you will put your mouth in a great big smile π inhale then slowly exhale having the tip of your tongue tapping inside your mouth against your front upper mouth gums or where your tongue is comfortable but to pronounce the alphabet "P" will be in the front area of the mouth in the upper roof top.. π instead of saying "PETER" it's TETER.. TE-TER... "PLAYED" it's TLAYED or TLAY if you find it easier dropping the 'ed' on the end of the word tlayed..a... "PIANO it's TIANO* or TEA-AN-NO* at "PAUL'S" it's TAUL'S *TA-UL* "PARTY" it's *TARTY - TAR TEE or TAR TEA.
TETER TLAY a TIANO πΉ at TAUL'S TARTY.
peter played a piano at Paul's party..
peter play a piano at Paul's party.
The practice dialogue below π is name 'PAUL'S PARTY' for practice the Alphabet "P"

Ventriloquist character: yes!
Ventriloquist: what is your friend name that invited you to the birthday party?...

Ventriloquist: what was the most exciting thing about your friend Peter being at your friend Paul birthday party?
Ventriloquist character: TETER TLAY a TIANO at TAUL'S TARTY!..
Ventriloquist: Peter played a piano at Paul's party.

as you can see in the demonstration script above the Ventriloquist over carry the conversation with the Ventriloquist character not to repeat the conversation but it's called misdirection...the audience ears is the target π― so this is also the art of perseuon, when the Ventriloquist pick up the Ventriloquist character lines by repeating them it's helping the audience follow along with the conversation, in corrections of the audience ears..so the next time in the conversation the Ventriloquist character says who's party it is the audience will believe that they have heard correctly as the conversation goes on the audience is on board with the conversation with the misdirection of the art of perseuon, combining lip control and the art of perseuon create a illusion of the art of ventriloquism. Take notes that lip control is misdirection and take notes that the art of perseuon is misdirection, and most importantly the Ventriloquist character is misdirection.
A Ventriloquism act: two persons carrying on a pretend conversation.
(The art of perseuon) being a convincing artist of a craft.
(Ventriloquist character) a character of a Ventriloquist act.
(Ventriloquist) A entertainer in the art of ventriloquism.
In the demonstration script dialogue the Ventriloquist character lines of saying "yes" is used for humorous actions since the lines in the dialogue are mostly not comedy lines the Ventriloquist character can add humor to the conversation by using body language or sound.. this means even though some Ventriloquists lip control is not very perfect the Ventriloquist skit can still be entertaining.
As mentioned before the Ventriloquist character is misdirection so if the Ventriloquist character can maybe rock back and forward with excitement about attending 'PAUL'S PARTY' with screaming the word yes!! it will direct the audience eyes and ears away from the Ventriloquist to focus their attention on the Ventriloquist character that seems to be more entertaining to watch than watching the Ventriloquist.
"misdirection" lip control, the Ventriloquist character are the basic tools for misdirection in the art of ventriloquism.. the alphabet "P" is a very difficult letter to say with out moving your lips but this school will also suggest that changing the names in the script would help you if the changes do not effect the script.. changes such as Paul can be Raul in some countries the name RAUL is the same as the name PAUL, instead of the word party it can be changed to "reunion" or celebration even though celebration has the alphabet "B" the alphabet B is not in the beginning of the word and can be skipped over in the pronunciation..
My suggestion is that before the art of ventriloquism was used for religious beliefs in ancient history it was a practice so the answer is practice the Alphabet P until it can be spoken with out moving your lips.. ask your Ventriloquist character can they say "TRACTICE IS TERTHECK" practice until your ventriloquist figure sounds like they're saying to you "practice is perfect"
THRAC-TIS..IS...TER-THICK= ( practice is perfect).
When you are brushing your teeth is a good quick time to practice your lip control with the alphabet 'P'.. when you brush your teeth sing the song "I your puppet" just turn on your music device turn on the song while you are brushing your teeth every time when the singers says the words "I your puppet" you sing it with out moving your lips "I your tuttet" it's a fun way to practice lip control of the alphabet "P"
The song titled is "I'm your puppet" but you will say I - your- tuttet not "I'm" because of the alphabet M in the word I'm, for alphabet M is the letter N so you can sing "I'n your tuttet" or "I your tuttet" with lip control in your Ventriloquist character voice and the song will sound like you're singing "I'm your puppet"
***PUPPET is TUTTET** with your tongue π
curling in your inside mouth at the roof top of your upper π inside mouth for TUT..then tapping the front top of the inside mouth for TET..this pronouncing works for me but if you like to try a different way feel free to experiment the best way for you.
Take notes: the tongue will make the pronunciations for the lips because the lips are not moving to pronounce words. Make sure your lips are slightly open or parted so that sounds can escape and air can travel in and out the mouth..
Take notes: it is better to practice with your Ventriloquist puppet because the Ventriloquist character voice will help in pronunciation of words with lip control.
Take notes: when you practice lip control with a Ventriloquist dummy you will see the progress faster than practice with out a Ventriloquist dummy.

1.People is teotle. TEE-TLE
2. puppy is tutty πΆ.. TUT-TEE or tut-tea
3. PEANUT π₯ is TEA-NUT or TEENUT
4. peach pie π₯§ is TEACH TIE or TEACHTREE so that you don't confuse the audience with the word teachers write ✍️ the script where peach pie is the subject if you look at the word teach and π peach with lip control you really need to concentrate on the pronunciation for π. So to say the word peach π would be saying in a sentence "TEACHTREE or teachtie with π¦ ice cream" π peach pie π₯§ with π¦ ice cream "teachtie with ice cream " once you have rehearsal your script with your stage Ventriloquist partner lip control will become a second hand naturally. Your Ventriloquist partner is your little helper so make note of that.
number 5 is a old history practice for "P"
5. Pick a π₯ pickle pick a πΆ️ pepper is TIC A TICKLE TIC A TETTER..tic a tic-tel... tic a tet-ter.... pronouncing another way π₯ "pickle" is "tick-kel" the Ventriloquist character voice using voice animation to manipulate the pronunciation so in a sentence you ask your Ventriloquist dummy would like a hot dog at the baseball game and your Ventriloquist character says: no tick-kells on the hotdog.. with the little Ventriloquist character voice it's sounds like no pickle on the hotdog.
remember to keep in mind that you are thinking "P" so you think the word pepper πΆ️ while saying TETTER wait a minute! think one word but speak another word at the same time! WHAT AM I SPEAKING FOR TWO?!!!
