Venter, belly speaker is ancient history..Vent and lo-qui is ancient history language meaning to speak from the stomach. 

Ven-tril-o-quism: the art of sight and sound of vocals illusions will give you a better description today than the ancient history description of 'voice throwing' or 'throw the voice'...ventriloquism is not magic or a magic trick and no Ventriloquists are not magicians. 

Ventriloquism is a very ancient practice.. there's some animals on planet earth that are Ventriloquists these animals make a sound to confuse their predators, these Ventriloquist animals are born with this sound for protection such as a bull 🐂 with horns. 

VENTRILOQUISM IS A PRACTICE... Ventriloquism is a art form just like the martial arts 🥋 the more you practice the better you become in the art. and I am sure you have heard of a first degree black belt of the martial arts so that means that person has a lot of practice in martial arts.. it's the same in the art of ventriloquism, your skills and techniques and knowledge will improve over time.

ventriloquy ven-tril-o-quy, this word means the subject of Ventriloquism, it's just another pronounced way of the art of ventriloquism. 

Ven-tril-o-quial.. ventriloquial is a word of a label 🏷️ instead of saying dummy or puppet you would say ventriloquial figure it's a profession pronounce way of speaking in the art of ventriloquism it's a respectable word.. a instructor or teacher of ventriloquism will say to the students use your "ventriloquial voice" for a clear direction for understanding to the students..a student/beginner of the art of ventriloquism meeting a professional ventriloquist should not say I enjoyed watching all your dummies but the student/beginner should say I enjoyed watching all your ventriloquial figures, this will show respect for the art and artist.. and trust me the professional ventriloquist will for sure return the respect because most knowledgeable and wise Ventriloquists know "ventriloquial".
