Belly speaking is a ancient practice.

In reality your natural stomach makes sounds when it's empty or hungry..these sounds can be imitations with the vocal cords.. imitation theses stomach sounds with the vocal cord is a spiritual exercise. Tribal. 

Your stomach also makes a gurgling sound. 

Your digestive system makes sounds. 

Your gut makes sounds. 

Most of theses sounds are created by food and drinks that cause gas or farts. 

BORBORYGMI is the name of this stomach problem, maybe you can name a Ventriloquist puppet "BORBORYGMI!!"
