Recently On social media a famous Ventriloquist said that she went into a apple phone store to see if she qualifies for a update on a phone she said she feels uncomfortable when the salesman asked her what do she do for work or what is her job, the salesman did a Google search. 
The famous Ventriloquist said she wished that she could tell people she did another kind of work.

As a professional Ventriloquist or famous Ventriloquist or any Ventriloquist YOUR TITLE is "ENTERTAINER", you are a performing artist in the art of Ventriloquism, you entertain using ventriloquism...you are a illusionist..she said she told the salesman her job is she talk to herself and sing with puppets well you're famous and trust me there's entertainers with worse jobs then Ventriloquism, and when she said that her manager should have said hey she's only joking! why should her show business manager say she's only joking because she hurts her fan base and future investors, she's the product so if she doesn't believe in the product then know one will, theses days when you're a famous person or show business product you need to be careful what you say because it's recorded for ever.. 

This school suggest all levels of Ventriloquist to have a real job in the real world, stay in school and be in the world meaning no matter how famous you are get a part time job at McDonald's or a clothing store, continue to be the Ventriloquist that you are but balance real world with your Ventriloquism, you will see that it works perfectly when you working a 9 to 5 job then going to film a movie or in a comedy club performing your comedian Ventriloquist act or on your days off entertaining at a birthday party, could you imagine being Jeff Dunham as a waiter or bartender, humble is self love.. could you imagine being a Ventriloquist with show business, school, real jobs in the real, it's called living the best of both worlds.. it's nothing wrong with having money or not having money as a Ventriloquist it's all about self gratitude.
A Ventriloquist living only in the show business world shorten their horizons and growth can be limited but the Ventriloquist that combine the art of ventriloquism and the real world has a much better productive life when staying dedicated to the art of ventriloquism..

There will be people in the real world jobs that might know of your gifts and talents but remember when you first started Ventriloquism there were family and friends that knew of your gifts and talents... 

You are a entertainer, you are a illusionist, you are a performing artist, you can also say I also work at so and so when I am not performing or attending school when I am not entertaining.. what is your real job? I am in the entertainment business here's my business card or call my manager if you have any questions.. 

I once knew a Ventriloquist that was a commercial truck driver during the week then perform on a very popular television religion show on the weekend, so it is possible living a regular life being a Ventriloquist can be done...I must mention being a Ventriloquist living a regular life is not being careless you still need to be aware of people and strangers, and some of those people that might try to use you, abuse you, confuse you or take advantage of you. 

Ps: I must be honest and truthful, combined the real world with your Ventriloquism can lead to much much more avenues and opportunities for your talents and abilities instead of just working show business alone, I don't know if the famous woman Ventriloquist realizes her business opportunities with that salesman, he Google her and I am sure the salesman was star shock to have a goddess standing in front of him but her thinking was wishful thinking,. even if the salesman is not a fan of her art the fact a "somebody" is standing in front of him, history is being created, the salesman history meaning five years from now he will be telling the story of meeting the world famous Ventriloquist at his job in the apple store.. business opportunities for a Ventriloquist are everyday because ventriloquism can be performed for any occasion, any audiences, any ages.. birthday parties are a big money maker for a Ventriloquist and there's a birthday every day I am sure the salesman has a birthday or his children have birthdays after Google search this famous Ventriloquist she should have said when is your birthday? , $$$, forget about signing fans autographs hand them your business card and say call me for your birthday I will be there, when they call your manager will answer and if you don't have a manager you yourself can handle the fee price for your Ventriloquist act.. being a Ventriloquist in the real world will provide leads to other adventures for your Ventriloquism... when I was a beginner Ventriloquist I would listen to the radio for talent shows commercials as a kid talent show commercials were all most normal advertisement so I would go to the talent show auditions, you should always keep your ear 👂 to the ground is what my manager used to always say.. I would subscribe to showbusiness magazines and news 🗞️ papers, there were announcements of talent agencies and game shows and movie roles and voice actor jobs, and television commercials auditions and a lot of movie extras work, movie extras for $5.00 an hour! I didn't care showbusiness work was show business..as a Ventriloquist you might want to subscribe to show business news magazine while you're working at a real job in the real world it will help you... there's nothing wrong with enrolling in a class such as acting or film or dance or piano or singing or what ever is entertainment, theses classes will help you with more opportunities with your Ventriloquism.. those schools or classes are based on entertainment and showbusiness so the people involved in those business are showbusiness people, they have resources and information.

fresh ideas bring creativity..a hike in the mountains, a bike ride in the city will be a healthy exercise. A sit on the beach will clear your mind and a writing in the shade is food for thought 💭.... The truth is being in the real world is to take advantage of it for our Ventriloquism.
