traveling safety π§³π§³π§³π§³ ( protection for Ventriloquist dummies)
When traveling with your Ventriloquist solid dummies.
Another way of protecting the Ventriloquist character face and head.
Protection for the face and moving parts such as moving eyes or mouth, etc. is sitting the Ventriloquial figure inside up against the carrying case where it is bend forward facing down between the feet.
This position is also a ready position meaning when you are about to perform your Ventriloquist act, all you need to do is open the lid of the trunk or suitcase to stick your hands in the back of the Ventriloquist dummy for the control stick.
This position also brings your Ventriloquist dummy out facing the audience.
Study the demo photo and practice the position with any figure soft puppets or hard or solid dummies.
Yes even with soft puppets because, it is training on removing the figure and bringing the figure out the Ventriloquist trunk or traveling case to face the audience, it's also training on putting the Ventriloquial figure away or packing up the Ventriloquial figure..
When I first started performing as a Ventriloquist I would travel with my Ventriloquist puppets and dummies faced up in the Ventriloquist 𧳠travel trunk, I had a struggle at my shows removing some figures from the travel case when they were laying facing upward but I learned on my own that face down with a cloth covering the head to prevent scratches was simple and easy.. so I was looking at old notes on file π️ of mine to mention this Ventriloquist dummy safety traveling sitting position..if you like, you can pack your Ventriloquist puppet faced upward or anyway you choose that's fine this is only mention for information.
