With moving eyes installed on a Ventriloquist dummy the Ventriloquist does not need to turn the head stick for the Ventriloquist dummy to look at them, the dummy head can slightly be turned just a little bit and with a gentle touch on the eye control string the eyes will move completely to the left or right..
eye movements help create the illusion of life and it also can be used for misdirection.

There's two styles of eye control.. self-centered automatic return and the none self-centered, these none self-center eyes you control yourself bringing the eyes back to the center by using the control on the stick, self-centered eyes have a spring connected that brings the eyes back to the center when the Ventriloquist release their finger off the string control. On the eye control there's two strings one to move the eye movements to the left and another to move the eye movements to the right.. some eye controls are use by a rod with a nob in stead of a sting.
