I must admit Christmas time is in high demand for booking Ventriloquist acts..if you're not aware many many businesses and companies hire entertainers for their Christmas parties and events, schools and libraries are always looking to book clean entertainment, retirement centers and senior citizen events welcome Ventriloquist acts always, so don't only think storytellers are for children entertainers..a Christmas storytelling Ventriloquist act will be pleasing to all audiences and all age groups..but you say what about technology today aren't books old fashioned? the answer is how you look at it, here today we have tablets that have these same books and then you have the actual book, for me I would used the actual book and not the tablet, why? because if I am on stage reading the story in front of a group the tablet might malfunction, now, why the actual book? the book add a classic look to the scenery, something like stage decorations, the audience see the storyteller holding and reading and turning the pages it gives the audience a more involvement. but yes tablets have these same books and stories and pages and tablets are the actual book but in digital.. for me I go with the book, it's just something hot about it these days. 

more about technology, A Jumbo screen protector can be used also so that the audience can silently read along while the storyteller read out loud.
