🎭 what is a skit and what is a bit ✍️

What is a skit: A skit is a well reheared short comedy routine..how long is a skit? under five minutes..skits can be a short story that lead to a punchline or message.

what is a bit: a bit is a very short version of written material for amusement purposes... how long is a bit, a bit is not a demo so a bit can be under one minute. The thing about bits is when you combine many they can become time fillers...a bit can be used for walk around performances... another thing about bits is bits can be used repeatedly at a rapid pace.

You might say I am new to all this stuff what does a bit look like? okay a bit would be when the Ventriloquist character says they can say the alphabet backwards then his head turns backwards and says A-B-C-..... 

You might say I am new to all this Ventriloquism stuff what does a skit look like?.. okay a skit would be when the Ventriloquist tells the audience that he is going to drink a glass of water while his Ventriloquist character sings but then during while the Ventriloquist is drinking the water the Ventriloquist character is not singing after the Ventriloquist finished drinking the cup of water the Ventriloquist shows the audience that the cup of water is empty by turning the cup upside down then turned to the Ventriloquist character and says a fine help you are why didn't you sing while I was drinking? the Ventriloquist character open their mouth wide to squirt the Ventriloquist face with water then says because I can't sing with my mouth full...(the squirting effect can be installed on any ventriloquist figure or doll or dummy or puppet) ( The drinking effect is used with slush powder purchased at many magic supplies shops) I used this skit at many live events it was always enjoyed by audience members.
