Willie Tyler said there's three sizes in Lester that he owns, he said as he grew in size from child to adult the size of Lester grew, Willie Tyler size the middle size Lester is in the vent haven museum.

If you purchase a Ventriloquist doll with stuff body and string mouth control 📬 mail the head to a Ventriloquial figure maker.. the figure maker will upgrade your beginner Ventriloquist doll to a semi pro Ventriloquist figure by adding a control stick and hollow body...the price should be reasonable for these basic upgrades but shop around when shopping for Ventriloquial figure makers.. some figure makers are brands such as a rose royce and Toyota and I must mention other figure makers might not touch another figure makers work so this means if your Ventriloquist doll first upgrades were done by figure maker so and so then figure maker so and so might end up your Ventriloquist doll only "DOCTOR" but then there's figure makers that work on any type or all Ventriloquial figures.

The original creation of the Ventriloquist doll was as a toy or to practice with, the Ventriloquist dolls were affordable depending on the sellers...I talked to a famous figure maker he was upset about a famous Ventriloquism school taking the Ventriloquist dolls in their name, the famous Ventriloquism school upgraded the Ventriloquist dolls then raised the prices.

A Ventriloquist doll head is too small to add too many moving parts my secret is that I used clones this means two or three look alike Ventriloquist dolls that had different features and upgrades, one might have stick out tongue and another might have smoke coming out the ears, I had a walk around act/bit where the hand shaker effect was added most figure makers call this "the raising arm" I would walk around the audience to have my Ventriloquist doll shaking hands with the audience members. 

A Ventriloquist named ronn Lucas compared soft puppets versus 🆚 hard puppets..he said soft puppets are the movement of my hands and risk and hard puppets are a head on a stick.....

You need to find what kind of Ventriloquial figures that you are comfortable with I am a fan of the Ventriloquist dolls I'm comfortable with the Ventriloquist dolls... unfortunately I am uncomfortable working with the soft Ventriloquial figures, the trigger finger control works better for me.
